Review of Harv Eker's
Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar at London Excel, 3-5 of April 2009
For the first time in Europe, you could attend
Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar at Excel in London. It's a 3-day seminar,
three long days. Roughly 2300 people had
registered for the event. Many of them came from Europe and
some even came from outside
Europe. A group of Italians got headsets and the seminar
translated into Italian.
Those who had read The Secrets of
the Millionaire Mind recognized a lot of the stuff. But the seminar
included more than the book and went deeper. First big topic was
the importance of Money Management. Money management is very important,
you get more money once you can manage the money you have. Far
too many people get this wrong and say, once I have more money I
start with money management. But that never works. You must start to
manage the money you have, start today. A simple money management system was
defined the first day and then practiced all three days.
The second and third day
focussed on recognizing and changing your financial blueprint. Most
people have beliefs that hold them back and in order to get ahead
financially, these beliefs must be replaced. You need clarity, vague
goals will not help you. In order to become financially free you
need passive income streams. Unfortunately, nothing was said about how
to create passive income streams.
The seminar included
plenty of exercises to recognize disempowering beliefs about money
and how to change these beliefs. On the whole, the audience was
kept active with affirmations and exercises. Harv Eker likes to
have the audience answer simple questions, by supplying the answer,
Yes or Yes. In order to become successful you need to have goals,
some of the exercises were about goals, especially financial goals.
You need big goals, just being a millionaire is not really good
enough nowadays.
Like most seminars, some of the time was used
to promote and sell training courses. A couple of training courses
have been planned for London. And it is possible to attend training
courses in Singapore or the USA as well. The Quantum Leap program includes the most
important training courses (Wealthy Now, Guerilla Business, Train the Trainer and Never Work Again)
and it can now be done in London. One of the workshops,
Never Work Again, is not available in London but you can get
a video recording of the event if you don't
want to go to Singapore. As a bonus for those who signed up for
the Quantum Leap program during the seminar, the Enlighted Warrior Training Camp was thrown in
as well. More than one hundred people signed up for the Quantum
Leap program, which was available at a heavily discounted price at
the Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar.
All in all, the
seminar was a bargain at the list price of £125. As bonus everyone got a booklet which contained a
90 day Wealth Conditioning Program. Excel itself was a
disappointment, with small chairs packed closely together and the Excel
staff wanted to go home early in the evenings and threatened to
switch off the lights, ending the seminar
days. Note that it looks like at
later seminars, you get a shorter version of the course book. Pity,
since the shorter version is much worse than the original book. But you
still get the freebies at the end.
At the moment Millionaire Mind Intensive seminars
are run twice a year in London.
